Continuing Professional Development Workshops | Events
Events
Each state has a program of evening events, including professional development seminars, and networking opportunities. These events are available to members at special rates. Non-members are welcome. Our events are offered on a national and state basis, with slightly different activities in each state to reflect local interests and needs.
Each year, AIPF holds a Tools and Techniques Expo. This is the premium event for learning and development professionals that showcases the latest tools, techniques and resources available and provides an excellent opportunity to network with other learning and development professionals, clients and service providers. Delegates are also offered options for heavily discounted accreditation workshops.

Professional Indemnity and Public Liability
AIPF, together with Parmia Insurance are offering AIPF members a highly competitive and tailored Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Facility solution for learning and development professionals.
Our premiums are:
- $290 - Professional Indemnity ($5M)
- $140 - Public Liability ($10M)
- $430 - Both Cover Options
The insurance package covers a wide range of activities including but not limited to Facilitators / Trainers; Consultants; Mentors / Coaches; Speakers; Educators / Tutors / Lecturers; Assessors / Advisors; Human Resources Specialists; Learning and Development Professionals; and other as declared and agreed upon submission to the Insurer.
